Sponsoring an orphan’s education, the process
- A family member (remaining parent, Uncle, or grandparent) visits the centre with child or children and ask for support. They will bring family card or death certificate of their father or mother.
- An application form is completed
- The centre takes a photo of them
- The centre validates (checks) the information and decides if the child(ren) are approved
- Approved Children go on the waiting list
- A Sponsor is found on the sponsor waiting list or child is 'on hold'
- Once a sponsor is found and matched the sponsor and child will receive each other's name and basic details (contact details are NOT encouraged)
- Once sponsor monies are received the child is able to continue his/her education
- The centre will provide school reports every 6 month/semester, Photo of the child(ren) when they join activities at centre, letter from their sponsored child(ren).
